After the storm: Fun snow at all local resorts

February 16th, 2012, 12:00 pm · · posted by

It’s what we’ve been waiting for all winter.

If you haven’t even dusted off your snow gear yet this year, now would be the time to do that – with fun snow that came down at all local resorts with the latest set of storms to hit our region.

Mountain High got 4 – 6 inches, Bear and Summit are boasting 14 – 16 inches, and if you’re willing to drive a bit farther up north Mammoth Mountain got 27 inches.

Use caution if you head up today or this weekend, and make sure you check road conditions – chains are required up to Big Bear. Read more here.

If you are headed up and need new gear, Surfside Sports in Costa Mesa is having a sale this weekend for President’s Day, with 30 percent off on boots, bindings and snowboards, and 40 percent off on clothing and accessories.
