Feel that cough coming on?
Yup, tomorrow will be a great day to call in sick, with fresh snowfall hitting local resorts.
Local mountains are reporting snowfall after a dry spell for the last few weeks, a much-needed relief for snowboarders who have pretty much given up on having a season at all.
Mountain High, Summit and Bear, and farther up north Mammoth Mountain are all saying the snow is showing.
We’ll see how much ends up falling by the end of the day, but whatever it is, it will be better than nothing!
Here’s a few shots from the mountains:
There’s a couple of really good deals happening, if you’re looking to head up to the slopes:
Mammoth Mountain: We have a killer promotion happening with Mammoth Mountain right now – we’re giving away free flights from John Wayne Airport to the mountain. It’s a simple Enter-to-Win contest, with winners selected when the contest wraps up Feb. 10. Enter here, and good luck!
Bear and Summit: Looking for something romantic to do for Valentine’s Day? There’s nothing better than hitting the slopes – and these mountains will hook you up if you want to play hooky. Buy one lift ticket and get one lift ticket of equal value free when you purchase online at least one day before Valentine’s Day. Redeem your reservation in guest services.
Mountain High: College Night is back on Feb. 16 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. – just show a valid school ID and get a $20 ticket. There will be a vendors village, snowboard demos, DJs, giveaways, and so much more. More info here.
