Surfers rescue one of their own

The surf didn’t turn out as big as everyone thought, but there was enough to keep lifeguards busy for
the weekend.
One of the big stories happened in Seal Beach, when a surfer stopped breathing for unknown reasons, and went under water for about 30 seconds near the river mouth. About eight other nearby surfers pulled him up and got him to the shore.
By the time lifeguards got there, the man regained consciousness.
